I was up there 2 weeks ago. By far, my favorite places to ride. Camped @ Troy Meadows camp ground most of the time...

Yes, green/red sticker all year round. Usually open for riding in late July and close when the snow returns in November. Anyone that thinks that "trail riding" is for sissies, should try to make it up there for a little trail ride     SHOTGUN, you hearing me ???

I puckered more than once going 7mph . There are a few spots where you really, really don't want to fuk up, it would be a big problem,

Headed back up in a couple of weeks. I finally got all the parts to fix my bike from the last trip.  We were moving pretty fast, going in and out of shadows, when someone left a bridge in the way at a 45 degree angle, right in front of my path...
I had no time to slow down, so I did what I could with it. I high sided about 10' across it and cartwheeled across it (head/feet/head/feet,etc). lol

Broken rear brake pedal- $100.00
Dented Ti FMF powerbomb- $200.00
ALL plastics/graphics trashed- $250.00
Broken HID headlight -$260.00
Bent Fasst Co flex bars -$250.00

Going home sore with over $1K worth of damage from 1 crash--- PRICELESS...
