Hacienda is my favorite place. It's near the bottom of summit blvd. Nottingham is a great place too and so is big bear brewery.

Looks like we might get some thunder storms this weekend so keep that in mind when you ride.

We almost did Hacienda last night but the kids wanted pizza so we had Maggio's? by Vons.  We ALWAYS hit Big Bear Brewery, they do have good food and tasty beers.  I think the orange is the favorite, which reminds me we left the growlers at home.   :x

As for the thunderstorms, it's a good thing I forgot all of my vest's at home.

So ended up only doing 70 because of the thunderstorm.  We were on Onyx and the storm was right over us. FLASH  pause BANG...  I was so wet and cold I wasn't sure I'd make it back up the Barton side of Onyx in time to make the SAG stops.  I almost signed up to ride one of the Specialized bikes and I should of.  I bet those hydraulic brakes worked better than my carbon wheels.  I have never ridden on such wet roads going that fast and it was sketchy to say the least.  Hydroplaning at 30+ on a bike makes you appreciate the life you are living.  =)

On the up side, I had my best times on just about everything today.  Started out with a nice tire slash, thankfully I had another tire at the condo and Bridget brought it to me.

You were at the worst spot for the storm!!!  It was a fairly mellow one today.  Glad you made it with only a flat tire.  More to come tomorrow. 8)

Nice work man!  Getting wet on a bike zaps so much energy from you.  Way to hang in there!
