2 stroke question
« on: January 14, 2024, 04:23:53 PM »
I've got a KTM 85sx. When you start it cold, it screams wide open for a bit, then slowly drops down to a normal idle, runs
fine for the rest of the day. I've triple checked the carb, the slide is making full contact when bottoming out. It seems
like maybe an air leak, but it's weird that the rpms drop to normal when warm. Anyone have an idea?  TIA

Maybe a crank seal? Seems like once it warms up it stops leaking air.
