Just bruised.      Front tire washed out on a dry slick corner, then hit a rut that had dried up.  Happened on a corner I've done a lot on a trail at Waterworx.  Luckily I cushioned the fall for my bike.

"Luckily I cushioned the fall for my bike"   Good job !  Bruises heal for free, mountain bikes not so much.    Glad it wasn't worse, heal up quick.

Out for Thursday. Just discovered a water leak under my house.  10:30pm Wednesday, water shut off. New priority tomorrow 

I'm out too.  I discovered how hard the ground is about 5:00pm Wednesday.

Bummer.

Hope the water leak is an easy fix.

FV, the saying that God made dirt so dirt won't hurt is bull crap. 
Glad it wasn't worse. Rub some Tussin on it for the next few days, Summit opens on Thursday.

I got lucky (again) The water leak was a pinhole in a piece of 1/2" copper, hose clamp and a piece of old garden hose got it, and the parts we're in the garage win win.
I bought some more time but that's rinky dink fix number 2, it's time.  Looks like I'm re-plumbing with plastic pex, my house is going to be like a big RV that never moves with freakin plastic tubing for pipes... I guess that's the new deal

Finally got the inevitable flat. Went from a 2.5 front and 2.3 rear to 2.6's front and rear, and went tubeless.  Test rode on the beach yesterday to check them out. I like it !

We may be going to Summit next Friday or there's a rumor of going to Snow Valley next Sunday.

Rode a couple new trails today. Got a call after work "Want to do a spur of the moment ride" ?
"Yeah sure I'm in"
"Nothing too scary I promise"...   

So we ride by the bottom of this steep azz hill I've been looking at since day one on the bike, I say "I don't know dude, ... I don't see me ever going down sh!t like that"

"Oh that's the first one we're doing"     "Trust me it's easy, just follow me"   

Guess who called ?
