2020 Dubya Vet Worlds
« on: November 09, 2020, 08:22:06 AM »
Thank you all who came to race, watch and vend at this years event. With the rain it complicated things a little bit and with Covid it complicated things even more. Yes we had a few Euro's who are living here and even some teams from Mexico but we lost the majority of the Europeans and the Aussies and South Africans and all of Asia and South America and a lot of others not able to travel due to all sorts of reasons. But we tried to make it as normal as possible.
Prayers go out the Chris Ow and his family. Its not easy to forget any rider lost and we will not forget Chris.
God Bless to all of you and I hope and prayed everyone made it home safe.
Hope we see you all next year and the Dubya World Vets and maybe we will all be in a better place then what we have had to deal with in 2020.

Mark: All in all, the 2020 World Vets went off just fine! The track actually kept up pretty well with the rain, and at times it was outstanding! The racing was really good in most classes, and the Glen Helen crew did an outstanding job in keeping the event moving along! Kudos to Lori, John, and the rest of the Glen Helen bunch. And it was great to see Bud out there as well on Sunday! The World Cup was actually fun to watch (even in its modified form!). Great job all around!

I agree Rich. Given the tough circumstances of weather and covid I though GH did an outstanding job.

I was pretty bummed while running 3rd in moto 2 (which would have given me 3rd overall in 50 pro) my bike had an issue. But hey better than last year as I was sitting in a hospital after the races in 2019!

And then getting on the podium in the Pasha 125 race (3rd) and the World Cup race (2nd) made for a great sunday to make up for a so so saturday.

When you lose the attendance of Canadians, Central and South America, no Irish or English riders and now European, Asia or Australia or New Zealand and a host of other countries it does bring down attendance but we tried to do our best but like 2020 some curve had to also show up and that was the weather. Thanks to all the Vendors and riders for coming.
