James Stewart is officially retired.
« on: May 17, 2019, 07:50:55 PM »
Yah yah, thanks captain obvious, but in his own words here... Save the sh*t talking, he definitely owns up to his actions and responsibility for what happened. I've always been a fan of James, not just because of his riding, but because of how honest he seems when he explains things.

People used to spit on him as he raced, because of the color of his skin.  :?  Think about that.

I feel bad for the guy having been suspended and ultimately it was probably for nothing but rules are rules and as long as those rules apply to everyone equally, that's fine...we see with Broc Tickle that they do. But I am sure of one thing though and that is that Jeremy McGrath would have more supercross wins, if Ricky Carmichael hadn't come along!

I feel bad for him because it seems like his self image seems to be completely dependent on the comments of others, that he may or may not see as peers. Seems like he was so worried about saying something that would upset someone or be perceived incorrectly that he wouldn't say anything at all.

I find it odd that the final onus about filing that paper work for his waiver for using Adderal fell to him, only. I'd think there would have been a trainer or manager or someone that would have been in that loop to prevent exactly what happened. Granted the responsibility was ultimately his, but I find it tough to believe that nobody on his team knew he was using it and made sure that he was inside the lines. Unless...they didn't know...

So when the Civil War ended, racism stopped too?

I NEVER heard anything about that. Is that really true? Because it would suck if it was.

Btw... My post was about the timing of news. Nothing else.

This post should be titled James Stewart confirms his retirement.  Everyone knows James "officially" retired on the day the first episode of Bubba's World was filmed...

YEAH DUDE, THAT SHIT HAPPENED.  AND IT HAPPENED WAY MORE THAN WE EVEN SAW ON TV.  JMAC EVEN HAD A SCREEN CAP HE POSTED FROM A RACE WITH SOME DUDES HOLDING UP A SIGN AND FLIPPING HIM OFF IN A CORNER AT ONE OF THE NATIONALS.  AND THAT IS JUST WHAT WAS BROADCASTED, THINK ABOUT WHAT WE DIDN't SEE...

I’ve heard from big James about when they were younger and would show up to race and they would tell him “we don’t race n*****s here” and he would tell them, “that’s good because we’re here to race dirt bikes”. Good for him, but stupid with all the racist BS even still today.

It’s true. I was at Southwick one year when his mom confronted a bunch of losers yelling racial slurs at him.
