SHIFTY nailed it on this one. I run mine under the visor as I feel it's safest there in a crash (doesn't engage with helmet to ground contact or create an unnecessary pivot point), but the AMA doesn't allow it. Chest mount located as high as you can keep it from the bars is likely best. The bike/front number plate locations never have that authentic feel, to me at least. Test it out well before any major races, as there's nothing worse than getting the angle too low or the vertigo effect from constant bouncing without any horizon line for context. Best of luck and please keep us updated with your ultimate solution 8)

Close to most, quick and easy, with challenging tracks for riders of all abilities, be honest with yourself: It's been too long since you've meandered down Lake Elsinore way 8)

Sending prayers to Kade for a full recovery.  As an alumnus of the Scripps Trauma Center I can attest he is in the best hands possible...those folks are top notch and have been dealing with Baja racing injuries for years.

Yeah there were a lot of comments (not good) made about Score this year on the PCI Radio Relay channel.  They could have done a hell of a lot more in my opinion and my hat is off to those that jumped in to help and do whatever they could, especially the McMillin's.

Were they racing on a Vet track?
It may have seemed like it from the coverage but it's not.   I would estimate that its about the size of Thunder Valley.   If you've ever been to Thunder Valley, it's not that large.

Here's a pic of the track and the golf course next to it.  For comparison that is the 14th hole and is 392 yards from the regular tees.

Thunder Valley size? Not sure TV ever had 1:30ish lap times...Looked more like a Perris or old Milestone size for reference. Was even shorter on Saturday qualifying without the inclusion of the oval extension section after the start. Good racing, regardless, but was a bummer watching TC41 go 2-DNF-DNF when it mattered in the motos.

Good times at Perris Raceway. Couldn't believe how empty it was throughout the day, but was happy to learn about their $30/October pricing on the drive in 8)

PS: Fast forward to 23:25 for some Phil laps on the main track!

Cahuilla vet is a very fun track and the dirt was almost perfect
I had a fun day of racing it’s been over five years since my last race
Get's off the couch and buys a new bike...jumps into a race after a 5 year hiatus...goes 1 and 1 in his class for the overall win.  That is more than just a just a "fun" day! 8)  Congrats!

P.S. Don't sell the couch...it seems to work really good!
Thanks Bill I did drop down but got bumped up immediately after LOL

JMac I had a blast looking forward to lining up with you soon
