Anyone here about lake elsinore track reopening the rumor is 2 firefighters and a pro rider maybe opening elsinore one of the guys rides the kawi # 911 does medical for a lot of races

hope not, rather have someone who runs a business run the track than random public workers

Oh I see.... You want experienced business people.  Like the business people who ran Elsinore before it went to sh!t, Star West,  or uh I mean Lucas Oil MX Park, Comp Edge, Racetown, Competition Park, Saddleback II, Rhino Land Etc Etc Etc I could go on...

Personally, I don't care what your back ground is or who you are.  If you have the guts and fortitude to try and run a MX track in So Cal, God Bless you and you have my support.  Wish there were more people who stepped up and gave it a go.  It ain't easy, that's for sure...

ya, I do. If you sell your house, do you want an experienced realtor or a guy from Caltrans? If you need a lawyer do you want a professional or a metro bus driver? I personal don't get a hard on just because a "firefighter" is involved. I'm not as impressed as you officer.

Not but hurt.  I am too old for anything on the net to effect me emotionally in anyway.  I could respond, "don't worry, your wife will probably come back to you after the fireman who stole her is done with her", but I won't... 😉

Running an MX track ain't rocket science.  If you can run a hot dog cart, there is a good chance you have enough business acumen to handle a MX track.   It's exactly what I said - I don't care what your background is or who you are.  If you have the balls and the fortitude to try and run a MX track
(especially in So Ca) you have my support.

The fortitude part is waaaay more important than having experience running a business.  Not many jobs out there where you are not only being attacked from the government, the insurance companies, private do good organizations and attorneys all wanting to shut you down, but it is one of the few endeavors one can undertake where the very people you are providing the service to constantly complain and will eat you alive.

Not sure what business experience gives you that type of  fortitude.  Unless of course you are passionate enough about your job and have the type of nerves it takes to run into burning building.

Just saying...
