I haven't worn a GoPro for awhile, but I got a wild hair up my ass and wore one yesterday. This was the 1st moto of the 30A gate at the SoCal MX Series up at Gorman. Track was good in the morning and then it turned into typical Gorman. Hard as a rock and windy. Fun day though.

Ricky Brabec was the dude on the Honda that won, and Justin Reese finished just behind me. Enjoy!

Was in the ER all day yesterday to find out I have 2 kidney stones. 3mm and 2mm. The pain was so unbearable the only thing that worked for the pain was morphine. I'm now at home with a handful of meds waiting for these things to pass. It's been quite miserable.

I've had a few of them and I ended up with the Garmin VivoActive, and I love it.

Can you tell me more about the VivoActive?  From what I have read, all sounds appealing to me however I have read negative comments with respect to heart rate monitoring.  What are your thoughts on the HR functionality?

Thanks in advance.
The HR monitor is fine, as long as you don't mind wearing a chest strap. The new thing with some of these fitness watches is they track your HR through your wrist, from the watch. The problem is, its incredibly inaccurate. Once they refine that tech, those will be much more appealing I'm sure. For now though, you'll have to wear another piece of hardware if you want accuracy.

that's expensive for a hard tail.
For a wal-mart shopper, yeah. But if you race and want to ride superior shit, that's cheap. My XC bike retails for $11k.
