To answer your question, no. If you didn't disturb the cylinder you don't need a new base gasket.

When you unclamp the head from the cylinder, you release the pressure on the base gasket. Inevitably it will impact the gaskets ability to seal. On a race weekend at the track, sure...but at home, with time...its bad practice to not pull the barrel and replace the gasket.

Simply doing so doesn't require you to replace the rings. They spin anyway. And if you're putting them back in the same bore. It makes zero difference.

So im getting a yosh pipe for my 2012 yz250f and cant find any jetting info I called yosh and they said they cant give out any info because of the E P A and federal gov will fine them big because of emission regs I told the guy it is closed course completion he says it is still a no go
any help greatly welcomed thanks in advance engine is stone stock

Timesert is good shit. Helicoil will get it done cheaper and easier though. But if I had both on the bench, Id use the timecert.
