Thanks for posting up the video...this layout is really fun. 8)

Did you happen to capture the total distance for one lap?
Interesting question, .788 of a mile for one lap. I reloaded the raw footage into the telemetry software and found that little gem for ya.

The track on Wednesdays is pretty nice but the traffic getting here sucks. 4 laps from todays ride.

Great moto and cool video. Thanks for sharing!

Curious: What camera(s) are you running for front and back footage? That's a unique perspective that isn't seen all that often 8)

The cameras are "Garmin Virb XE" but unfortunately they are obsolete, in fact Garmin got out of the action camera business. I have three of them, two I bought about 5 years ago and the other last year after I found out I cant get them anymore. The Garmin software is excellent and will sink up the videos for multi cam editing. I have one pointing forward and the other back. Looks stupid but the results are worth it. Music is a little more work as each song must be converted to MP3 format but easily done with a free on-line converter.
I always enjoy the videos you and your brother post, even if sometimes I am made the fool. Your videos add to the fun and memories of the whole racing experience. Much appreciated.

My brother gave up on the Garmins and went GoPro but I don't want to lose the GPS and multi-cam features. I still have all the videos I made all the way back to 2012 and the way I was riding back then was soooooo horrible. I'm just now getting to be a decent intermediate level rider.

I read that the track was going to be all new but turns out they changed the infield and the outer ring remains mostly the same but still a good track over all. I really liked the two lane S section. It was really busy and not many people riding the main track so quite a few downed riders and a couple red flags while we were there.

This video is the first 7 of 17 laps from Moto 1.The race ran about 8 minutes longer than it was supposed to. This is all Intermediates on Gate 2, several age groups range from 28 to 58. I'm racing in the 58 to 62 age group.
Very fast track. Experts and Masters were on gate 1 and it only took a few laps for some them to start putting laps on us older folk. I finished second in my class
in both motos.

Even though it was hot we went to the track anyway and got some laps in before noon. The track was in good shape and it turned out to be a pretty good day.

MX tech talk / JD jet kits for KTM's with Mikuni's
« on: June 14, 2020, 04:03:07 PM »
I tried one today having installed the kit per the chart that comes with the kit and it worked extremely well. The kit also comes with a small washer that will allow 1/2 clip setting changes. On my next ride I may try a 1/2 clip setting towards the lean side. As it is now the bike runs far better than stock making the power delivery very smooth and stutter free.

MX tech talk / Re: VForce vs Boyesen Rad Valve
« on: January 12, 2019, 09:43:14 AM »
This is one of the better reviews I've seen on the 2019 bike.I have a DEP pipe on my 2017 and it has excellent low and mid power but still signs off a little sooner than I would like on top. I did have a Pro Circuit pipe on it and without even a single crash the pipe severely cracked so I looked for other options besides PC and FMF. I have about 50 hours with the DEP pipe and it has held up well. I think I will try the Boyesen reed cage and the larger rear sprocket as in the review.

MX tech talk / VForce vs Boyesen Rad Valve

Over the years I've used each brand and had great results, lately I've used the VForce. For my 2019 250SX I thought I might go back to the Boyesen.
Anyone have a preference?

It was a fun race.Dual cams look stupid but worth it sometimes. 360 cameras are still to expensive.Picture from the race courtesy of Photoman.
