Turkeys

All year I have had these two turkeys raising 8 chicks in and around my yard, garden, pasture, woods, etc. They are very skittish/difficult to get close enough to get a decent photo, so I finally just set my trail camera near my garden, as they go through it every day hunting bugs. This is one of the better shots I got.

I keep all but 2 of my dogs in a large pen (about an acre) and of those two, one is old and has very poor vision. I don't think he's ever seen them. 
The other one has chased them a time or two but turkeys can generally elude a dog pretty handily.

Me too....it's scary to think anyone still drinks that stuff.

I had a peacock chase me once when I was a kid...
almost pissed my pants....lol
