First, I took the suggestion from my son Tyler.
Second, I filled the pipe with water leaving about an inch and a half of airspace below the end of the stinger.
Third, I plugged the exhaust end with a 4 stroke muffler plug and the stinger with a 2 stroke muffler plug.
Fourth, I placed in freezer overnight.
Fifth, I checked in the morning, and some of the dent was gone.
Sixth, I thawed the pipe.
Seventh, I refilled the pipe, leaving maybe three-quarter inch airspace at the stinger.
Eighth, I repeated steps 2-4.
Ninth, I checked the pipe in the morning and nearly no dent at all....success.

(By the way, a pipe repair guy told me that I would probably have to freeze the pipe twice and that this method works.  It did.)

I'd be worried that some of the welded seams didn't weaken but if they did give way in the future, I guess you could just weld them up again.

Did the same thing with an FMF Megabomb that was on my 450 and got the same results. Definitely works well.

If you don't have a freezer big enough....

On 2 stroke pipes I use a crutch tip on the stinger (hose clamped and wired) have a 2" rubber end cap (hose clamped and wired on)from home depot that I bolted a shredded valve on it. Heat dent with torch til a glowing red and slowly add air.

4 stroke headers pop out easy when frozen
