2nd ride of the day, 2nd time on this track. Riding with Thorguy (beginning until 8:00 on the Honda #247 in green TLD gear and kdawk27 (9:00-14:00) on the Honda #627 with red/blue/white gear toward the end.

I sanded only the rough spot until I couldnt feel the sharp edges anymore. As soon as they felt smooth, I put the sandpaper down and started the fork reassembly. Ill be taking the bike out this weekend to make sure all is well. It held the same air pressure and didnt show any signs of leakage like it did after it got fixed the first time, but well see. I have the talent to mess up anything.

Thank you, gentlemen. Home Depot didnt have any grit over 600 so I just went ahead and bought a few sheets of 400 grit wet sandpaper. Also bought a fork seal driver and fork cap wrench so I will go about fixing the fork now.

MX tech talk / DLC coating scratches

I dont know if this series of scratches were enough to do it, but about 2.5-3 hours on the hour meter ago I threw on a set of SKF seals after the brake disc side of my 2014 KX450F blew out. Fast forward to now and its blown out again. Bought another SKF seal for this one side and am going to go buy the tools to swap the seal out tomorrow. Have any of you had nicks this minor that blew out your seal? What do you guys suggest, grit-wise, for cleaning this up? Going to take some sandpaper to it to smooth it out and hope that I this new seal doesn't blow. Thanks in advance.

Not half as good as Jason's footy from TWMXRS, but im posting anyway. They added a REALLY tight s-section at the bottom of the track right before the uphill flag jump. After hitting the mound with my bars and brake lever then crashing more than once, I quit going there

I haven't had any issues yet, but read about a lot of people having issues with theirs. I've put about 3 hours of use on mine so I'm hoping I got lucky and don't have a faulty one. The only thing negative that i have noticed is that the battery doesn't seem to last very long.

Lost my desire to keep riding and hadnt ridden much the last 3-4 months, but went out and had a great time riding with Thorguy and a couple of his buddies at Cahuilla this past weekend. Very glad they tweaked the track to get rid of that really tight and odd section in the middle part of the track so it flows a lot better now. Easily my favorite track to ride! If you have time to waste, I shot 4 videos of us riding with my GoPro Hero 3: Black edition in 1080p at 60fps.

Met some buddies up in Corona at Pole Position Raceway for a couple of races yesterday evening. If you've never had the chance to go, id highly suggest it. Its a bit expensive for the time that you get, but its definitely fun! Check out the video if you have 10 minutes to spare.
