Anyone riding LACR this weekend? Supposed to be nice, may take both of my Vintage bikes??

NO LACR FOR ME, TOO WINDY...
Oh stop it… 4-12mph winds on Saturday and 3-10mph on Sunday.

You’re getting soft !!

Think we’re heading up Sunday 65 and 3-10mph=nothing.
Planning on racing SoCal Vintage at Perris in March😎

That's going to be fun. Scott said it is going to be a GP using both courses.

What class and bike will you be riding?

Might be a possibility. But only 50/50 right now.

My 82 RM 465 50+ intermediate. I just finished my rebuild of my 85 CR250 and will be taking it out for the first time tomorrow. Taking it easy since I haven’t been riding much.
Been enjoying SoCal Vintage races and looking forward to competing in all 3 races.

Last Saturday (and a bit of Friday) in Oh Wells was about as good as it gets.

Helps to have a good riding partner.  8)

Found some fun single track along multiple ridge lines...

The rain had worked its magic and many of the old lines were smoothed out...

Others, not so much.

Deep in the Reef...

I hadn't hit this one since 2001, and crashed on it back then, so not sure what prompted me to try it again 23 years later.  :o

Finessing 2nd gear up a near 20' tall face, with a sandy rut at the bottom transitioning to hard cobble at the top can be quite tricky. Not very far, but the rather short landing goes right back up another sharp transition so you do not want to jump long on this one.  :?  Doesn't look like much, but it was one of those that gets you fired up once you do it.

Rented a Polaris RZR-4 1000 for the first time and got our group all around the park together. An afternoon for the ages atop Blowsand here. The weather was perfect all weekend.

Until next time friends.  8) 8)

Seems a bit more confused than usual. A weekend with Shifty didn't help.
