SD flagging

It didn't really show on the broadcast but the flagging at San Diego was way off from where it needs to be. First 250 race a guy came up short on the finish line double, the first guy plowed him, not a lot they could have done to prevent that but then like 4 more guys piled up into the pile. The flagger on the takeoff was standing there with the flag by his side. Also noticed a lack of blue flags as the leaders came by. Hope they figure it out. Either with radio communication or lights or something. Yeah I'm critical of flaggers...

That was the people's vet's champ Billy Laninovich who came up short! Luckily he came out of that unscathed!!

Glad he's ok, it looked nasty from where we were. (right above the start on the west side) I watched the flagger at the base of the takeoff stand there looking at the riders coming at him instead of trying to get a visual from the flagger on the backside of the landing. Hope he was enjoying the race while guys were landing on each other after they passed him. Duuuur dude wake up.

Not entirely unscathed. I saw a video of him going to the doctor this morning and he was noticeably limping. I hope he can line up for A2.
