Another friend said kinda the same.   

His Dad has since deleted his post about the injury, but word was that it shouldn't require surgery, so he could be back sooner than later. I was really pulling for him to make a whole season healthy and at least get some wins and get back in the mix. With everything you put into it, this is so just harsh.

I heard that it was the spinal process that he broke on the vertebrae.  Not sure if that is accurate but that would be a best case scenario for a broken back.

Agreed. Unless they didnt see how completely out he was. He may have rattled back around a little before they to him? On the vid, he was a rag doll.

Except he said he was out for 5 minutes or so.  That's a long time to be KO'd.

Yeah, I'm not a big AF fan, but I hate to see that happen to any rider. That video was pretty gut wrenching.
