Wow looks like a clean build.  Is there a reason for routing the front brake line outside of the fork?

Looks like the bigger rotor may of hit the brake line. I built a '07 KTM EXC525 Supermoto and the brake line had a couple marks on it where the rotor had touched it.

Nice bike, BTW Shanes. You always got some nice bikes.

cheers guy , i was a little bit surprised on how well it went on track to be honest , i really thought the 500 was going to be an animal but in the TM SMX chassis it was extremely ridable and smooth , i had some old tires on it as it was the first proper test but  you could drift it out of the corners on the throttle .
i had a little issue at the start as the idle was too high and it kept pushing the front and i could not get it stopped for the apex , i turned the idle right down so it would only just tick over without stalling and it was 100 times better on the entry .
Gearing was a little short i was running 14/46 and it felt really tall on the street when i test rode it so i took a 47-48 & 49 with me but is was to short not too tall so i will swap it over to a 15/48 that should be closer.
i pulled all the plastics tank etc off it yesterday cleaned it and went over it all , everything was as it should be nothing had come loose , carb was dripping a bit of fuel as normal for 2 strokes so i ran all the over flow tubes into a little catch bottle i fitted under the sump guard , fuel and oil dripping onto a slick tire normally ends with you getting high sided into orbit so i won't to avoid that .

the main point i am still smiling it was so much fun and it had all the boys on 450's shaking there heads with how quick it was off the corners  8) 8) 8)

Awesome and great job. What happened to the 300 engine? Go-kart?
