Suzuki Remap worth it?
« on: October 29, 2014, 08:19:52 PM »
I have a 2014 Suzuki Rmz450 with a yoshimura complete system, when I first got it I had the stock chip installed seemed to run a little rich in stock form. When I installed the Yosh setup It started popping and at high rpm it would pop almost maybe pre igniting. So I went to the lean chip and it helped when I use a higher quality fuel or a mix of two helps. My question is would stock chip and a remap of ignition be better for it?

That was my first thought, but rechecked it and everything is good. I had a Kawi that I had a exhaust leak with it so was my first thing to check.

I did ride another 14 Rmz he had pro circuit system and the airbox had the screen elimated but his ran stock chip

if you want to eliminate the wire screen, just order up a filter cage from a rm250 for about $12...its not worth the $150 ER trip when you slip with the pliers when removing the screen
