I'm installing a Engine in a 2009 YZ 250F please help ASAP
« on: November 18, 2010, 08:31:38 AM »
I'm installing a Engine in a 2009 YZ 250F and the races/spacers that go in the back of the engine that the swing arm pivot bolt goes through is there a left and right correct way to install these or is it just press them in and install the engine?

The cases are a little differant on each side it looks like one is deeper than the other I saw this after i pressed them in-

(Other bike)
2ND question- My kids 2009 YZ250F seems to be electrocuting him when he lands off the jumps some times ever had this happen to you? I have gone through the wiring a couple times and checked all the connections they all look great-

He is getting electrocuted when he bottoms the bike ? Is he wearing boots/ socks and gloves ? Does the bike have grips on it ? This is a good post ! Lets get to the bottom of this , it should be interesting !

After a while I would just use my nuts to ground out the bike, felt good.

Wrap tape around handle bar under kill button we had the same problem on a bike and this fixed it.

Very interesting to me. Can he tell if indeed its the left hand ? [ kill button huh? must me moisture all the way through the glove yes ? to conduct electricity ?] In all my years this is a new one for me . Certainly a kill switch malfunction could send power out the top , i mean there is enough I suppose . Cool post , I'll remember this one. Thanks
