HELP ME!- KX450 Fuel Line

So in December I got this 2019 KX450 with 54 hours on it and have torn it down to regrease everything but am stuck at the fuel line. There is a red clip that slides, so I slid it but nothing happened and I couldn't see anything else to do, so I pried the red clip completely off and the line still will not seem to come off. What am I missing? Do I just need to pull harder? HELP!

Not sure about KX but my yamaha on both CRF's you pull the clip and push the line towards the spigot and rotate a few times, then pull right off.  It should not require too much force but pushing it towards and twisting helps the little fingers retract inside the clip

You DO remove the red clip completely and then just twist and pull. It was just a lot harder to do than I thought it should be.

Make sure it’s all the way on when you put it back(secure red clip)together. My line popped off while on the track at western.
